ANJA ANDERSEN PUNISHED BY DHF AND EHF Anja Andersen, Slagelse Dream Team coach, was punished by DHF and EHF due to her unsportsman like conduct on 5 March 2006 during the match between Aalborg and Slagelse of the TomsLigaen.
EL RECORD publishes decision shorth wording of EHF about Anja Andersen conduct in the match against Aalborg: "Anja Andersen, head coach of Slagelse DT is not allowed to enter any
official areas or to participate in any official activities in international
competitions by 30 June 2006". EHF considers that "the action of Anja Andersen is to be regarded as seriously unsportsmanlike conduct
and creates a big damage for the appearance of handball". DHF SANCTION: On 10 March 2006 the Danish Handball Federation published a disciplinary decision in
the issue and awarded the following sanctions:
-A suspension of two times six months for all official activities relating to handball
matches within Danish territory (first part relating to the offence against the
referee, second part due to the unsportsmanlike conduct during the game –
ordering the players to leave the court);
- A monetary fine of DKR 10,000 and DKR 90,000 – this part of the decision is not
