ORSAN WISHES FINISHING CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WITH A TRIUMPH Orsan Elda Prestigio will take leave of Champions League and European Competitions for this season this Sunday against Viborg HK in the last match of Champions League Group Matches. Spaniards wish finishing this competition with a win, but they know Viborg is a great team. However, danes will start the match in Elda knowing the result between Krim Ljubljana and Larvik
. If Krim beat Larvik, Viborg will be classified for the quartefinals. This situación could benefit Elda, because it´s possible VHK play relaxed if they are classified before the match.
Maaike Turnhout, Elda´s dutch player declared about sunday match: "This week against Viborg, we would like finishing Champions League with a triumph against a very good team like VHK. We are trying to do our best because we want t win at least a match in this Champions League. It will be very good for our team and for our supporters, alttough we aren´t going to continue neither Champions neither Cupwinners Cup. We expect our fans will come to support us, because this would be very important to beat Viborg".
By other hand, slovenian player Silva Ilic said: "we want to beat VHK, although we know it doesn´t mean nothing, but it would be very good for our sponsors, supporters etc. We won´t lucky with this group, it´s a very tough group and Krim, Viborg and Larvik are some of the best teams in Europe. This sunday we are going to try playing as strong as we could, and we´ll try to dedicate the triumph for our fans".
It´ll be a very emotional match for spanish left handed player Isabel Ortuño. This is her second season in Denmark and she´s very happy there, it´ll be the first time she plays against Elda Prestigio in her city, all her friends and family will be in Florentino Ibañez hall to support her. Isabel declared: "In Viborg it was also emotional, but in Elda it´ll be much more yet. I´ll try to do my best for my team and that team is VHK. I hope we can be classified before the match if Krim beat Larvik in Ljubljana. Orsan Elda Prestigio has got a strong team but this group has been very difficult for everyone".
