ORSAN ELDA TO NORWAY IN SEARCH OF A MIRACLE Orsan Elda Prestigio flew this Friday course to Norway, where tomorrow is going to play fifth match in this group A against Larvik Handbold Klub. LHK has got four points, while Elda hasn´t scored any point yet.
Sandoval´s team lost in the Spanish League last saturday in front of Itxako (4th team in Spain), due to this, Elda isn´t the leader of the spanish championship. Cementos la Unión Ribarroja is the new leader in Spain , they´ve got two points more than Elda. Orsan Elda isn´t in their best moment, team isnt´playing as their coach expect.
Spanish team hopes playing a good match in Norway and they don´t discard the surprise. In the first match of this Champions League, Larvik won in Elda by one goal, and spaniards were closely together of the triumph. In his first visit to Larvik, Elda Prestigio lost by 15 goals: 38-23, it was in january of 2004. Elda Prestigio played quite bad that time and they hope they could improve a lot for this saturday. A good defence and a strong attack, without lost balls, would be the key of the match for Elda.
BEATRIZ MORALES SIGNED WITH ASTROC SAGUNTO
This week, Orsan Elda Prestigio received bad news. Its left wing Beatriz Morales signed with Astroc Sagunto for the next season. Bea Morales declared: "I have decided to accept Astroc´s suply and I´m going to play with them. It´s a very good chance for me and I have to take advantage of it, and I´m very happy due to this". Bea said about the match in Larvik: "We will try to do our best in Norway, we would like leave Champions League with at least a win. Larvik is a very good team, they beat Krim at home with quite facility, they have got a very strong defence in 6-0 and very good fastbreaks. For us, it will be very difficult winning in Norway, but we have to try it".
ANJA ANDRIUCHENKO WILL PLAY FOR THE GERMAN TEAM: OLDENBURG
Former player of Elda, russian Anja Andriuchenko, will play for a german club: Oldenburg, the eighth team in German Championship. Anja and her new club will pay Elda for the freedom letter. Everyone have reached an agreement and Andriuchenko, who left Elda without Elda Prestigio´s knowledge, is going to play for Oldenburg the rest of the season.
